Wine Tasting at Fattoria Montepescini

Just a short distance from the campsite (only 7 km), you’ll find Fattoria Montepescini, a hidden gem nestled within the Basso Merse Nature Reserve. In this unspoilt setting, where the Merse and Ombrone rivers meet, nature and history merge into a unique panorama.

Fattoria Montepescini lies at the foot of the historic remains of Castelvecchio, the ancient heart of a medieval village dating back to the year 1000. Here, in a land with a centuries-old and renowned winemaking tradition, you will be welcomed by the Governi family.

Through their passion, you will embark on an authentic journey that begins with a stroll among the vineyards and continues into the cellar, where every bottle holds over seventy years of tradition and dedication. The tour concludes with a guided wine tasting, enhanced by small tastings of typical Tuscan products.
